• Nepal National Water Week-2014 celebrated across the country with various programs

    The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) organized 6th Nepal National Water Week (NNWW), commemorating World Water Day and World Meteorological Day. This year, the water week was celebrated from March 17 to march 27 with various activities under the theme Water and Energy as designated by UN Water. The NNWW program has been organized under the leadership of Water and Energy Secretariat (WECS), government of Nepal and SEN as the Secretariat since 2009. read more>>>

  • The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) joins Sankhu Plastic Free Campaign

    The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) collaborated with FORCE Nepal to organize the 3rd Sankhu Plastic Free Campaign from 2nd Magh to 2nd Falgun 2070. The campaign has been mobilizing thousands of volunteers since 2011 to exchange the plastic with eco-friendly bags from the devotees who visit the Salinadi Mela and to reduce the use of plastic bags which are less than 20 microns.     On the occasion of Global Day of Action, The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) organized a One-Day exhibition and competition of articles prepared from discarded matters at Basantapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu on Saturday, 21 December.
