{"id":586,"date":"2016-01-14T16:08:23","date_gmt":"2016-01-14T10:23:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smallearth.org.np\/?page_id=586"},"modified":"2018-07-09T16:44:16","modified_gmt":"2018-07-09T10:59:16","slug":"training-on-gis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.smallearth.org.np\/training-on-gis\/","title":{"rendered":"A Basic Training on GIS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>21 June-5 July 2012<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A Twelve-days training program on \u201cA BASIC TRAINING ON GIS\u201d has been successfully completed on Thursday 5 July 2012 by The Small Earth Nepal.\u00a0Engineering Geologist from Ministry of Energy, Mr Ananta Man Singh Pradhan was the resource person for the training program.<\/p>\n<p>The training program was designed to provide the participants an insight into the introduction on GIS, database acquisition, geo-referencing, 3D analysis, spatial analysis, hydrological modeling, etc.<\/p>\n<p>As per the post-training assessment of the participants, the training has proved to be an excellent opportunity to understand the application of GIS software in diverse research fields.
