Cancellation of NNWWW 2020 programs

Warm Greetings!
This is to inform that, in view of the pandemic outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with health guidance from WHO and other health authorities, the Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal has decided to cancel the upcoming National and International events until further notice.
Therefore, considering the health safety of its esteemed delegates, the Water Energy Commission Secretariat (WECS), the Government of Nepal has decided to cancel celebrating 12th Nepal National Water and Weather Week-2020 (NNWWW-2020) which was to be held from 17-23 March 2020.
The new dates of the event, programs related updates and other such issues related to the program will be communicated in due course.
Following the government’s public appeal for precautionary measures, WECS and The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) request for your kind cooperation to support the cause of global health safety.
